Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician or Teaching Aide to join our team at Schaefer Education Solutions. In this role, you will work closely with children on the autism spectrum, implementing behavior intervention plans and collecting data to track progress. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission to enhance the educational experiences of our students.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Collect and record data on student progress toward goals.
Assist students in developing social skills and appropriate behaviors.
Provide direct support to students during instructional activities.
Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding student progress.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician preferred.
Experience working with individuals with autism or in special education settings.
Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
