Laboratory Technician

job summary: This role is a vital part of the Research & Development team, supporting the formulation and testing of innovative hair care products. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the development of market-leading shampoos and treatments.

Mason, Ohio job type: Contract salary: $17.00 - 19.83 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Associate responsibilities: Prepare prototype shampoo formulas and compound batches according to strict laboratory records. Measure critical test parameters including pH, viscosity, density, and solid content. Operate and calibrate specialized equipment such as mixers, viscometers, and laboratory scales. Monitor and evaluate product stability under various temperature and light conditions over time. Maintain precise documentation of experimental data and stability observations in laboratory notebooks. Manage raw material inventory and maintain a sanitary, organized laboratory environment.

qualifications:

Degree in a related discipline (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or equivalent professional laboratory experience Foundational knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, and chemical terminology skills:
