What You Will Do Ohio Lumex is seeking an exceptionally skilled Analyst with excellent laboratory skills to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will perform metals analysis using

ICP-MS/ICP

instrumentation, with the opportunity to also support our company's instrumentation division. Level (Analyst II or III) and compensation are based on experience. Occasional travel may be required for on-site analysis. Key Responsibilities Analyze samples for metals content using

ICP-MS/ICP

instrumentation, following established SOPs and methods Prioritize sample preparation, analysis, and data review to ensure samples are reported on time Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instrumentation Meet laboratory QA/QC objectives Learn and apply new analytical methods as needed Support the company's instrumentation division and perform on-site analysis as needed (occasional travel) Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytical laboratory Minimum 2 years of experience with ICP-MS or ICP instrumentation Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy Desire to continuously learn and develop new methods and technologies Punctual, reliable, and dependable Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; local candidates preferred Must be able to pass random drug screenings and a criminal background check What We Offer Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off, Sick Time, and Paid Holidays Team-building activities and company celebrations throughout the year Years of Service Recognition Program Collaborative, team-oriented work environment where your contributions are recognized and valued
