Battery Test Lab Technician

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Battery Test Lab Technician to support hands-on testing and evaluation activities within a battery testing laboratory. This position involves performing process-driven testing work, including battery tear-downs, measurements, weighing components, recording observations, and accurately documenting test results.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, typically 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Pay:

$23.00-$25.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable in a laboratory or controlled environment, and can consistently follow established procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

Perform hands-on battery tear-down and testing activities following established procedures.

Record test results, measurements, weights, and visual observations accurately.

Inspect components and document findings throughout the testing process.

Organize samples, materials, equipment, and test documentation.

Follow standardized processes and maintain consistency during repetitive testing activities.

Maintain accurate and complete records of testing and observations.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with lab procedures.

Follow all applicable safety requirements and testing protocols.

Communicate unusual findings, discrepancies, or testing concerns to the appropriate team member.

Previous experience working in a laboratory, testing, manufacturing, quality, technical, or similar hands-on environment preferred.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record data.

Comfortable performing repetitive, process-oriented work.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written procedures.

Comfortable using basic measurement tools and recording weights and observations.

Ability to work independently while following established processes and safety requirements.

Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Dependable and able to maintain a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $23.00 - $25.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
