Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Quality team in a food manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll perform laboratory testing, analyze product quality, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure products meet food safety and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a science background who enjoys laboratory work, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. This position has the opportunity to become a permanent role based on performance and business needs. Training Schedule Monday-Wednesday during the training period. Transition to the regular Thursday-Saturday schedule beginning in August.

Regular Schedule Thursday-Saturday:

7:00 AM-5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Perform quality assurance and quality control testing throughout the production process and on finished products. Conduct laboratory analyses, including pH, titratable acidity (TA), Brix, sugar content, and other quality parameters. Collect samples and accurately document test results. Maintain laboratory records, tracking systems, and quality documentation. Assist with food safety, HACCP, GMP, SOP, and SSOP compliance. Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas. Assist with quality investigations, process improvements, and research and development projects. Support internal audits and regulatory compliance activities. Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure product quality and food safety. Provide coverage for other Quality team members as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent laboratory experience. Understanding of microbiology, chemistry, and laboratory testing techniques. Experience with food manufacturing quality systems, HACCP, and GMPs preferred. Experience with gas chromatography (GC) and pipetting is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Work Environment Laboratory and food manufacturing environment. Standing and walking for extended periods. Occasional lifting of laboratory materials and supplies. Collaboration with Production, Quality, and Operations teams. Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, or travel requirements based on business needs.
