Full Job Description Sample Receiving Technician Location:

Allentown, PA Pay:

$18.00/hour

Schedule:

Full-Time | Four 10-hour shifts per week between the days of (Monday-Saturday)

What You'll Do As a Sample Receiving Technician , you'll play a critical role in ensuring customer samples are accurately received, documented, and prepared for laboratory testing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving, logging, and processing incoming samples in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Reviewing sample documentation for accuracy and completeness Contacting clients when additional information or clarification is needed Assigning sample identification and appropriate test codes Properly storing and maintaining sample integrity until testing is complete Preparing samples and packages for shipment to other laboratories when needed Maintaining accurate records and shipping documentation Supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives Assisting laboratory or client service teams with additional tasks as needed

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of relevant work experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with computers and data entry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Experience working in a laboratory environment Familiarity with microbiology, chemistry, or laboratory information systems (LIMS) Schedule Full-time Four 10-hour shifts each week Schedule falls between
