• Filing blocks and slides Delivery of assets throughout the department Manage electronic request for additional material (pulling blocks/unstained slides) Prepare/stage blocks for microtomy Support/operate digital scanning/instruments Track assets in pathology tracking system Demonstrate interpersonal skills required to successfully perform as a team member in a constantly changing environment Maintain confidentiality regarding all phases of laboratory work and findings Comply with all the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals Required Qualifications

Work Schedule This full time, 40 hour position is on the day shift, 6am to 2:30pm. Work Locations NCRC, Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor Background Screening Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
