Job Duration:

13 Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred. Hematology and/or Chemistry experience highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing. Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests according to established procedures. Perform testing in the Chemistry department; Hematology experience is highly preferred. Perform and document quality control procedures. Troubleshoot quality control errors and laboratory equipment issues. Troubleshoot laboratory instruments and perform preventative maintenance. Recognize, investigate, and evaluate computer/data problems. Identify and evaluate normal and abnormal laboratory values. Communicate technical laboratory information effectively to medical professionals and patients/lay persons as appropriate. Assist with training laboratory personnel on routine procedures. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities. Maintain compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. Demonstrate professionalism and model organizational Standards of Behavior in daily interactions and activities. JY01

$2,050.00 - $2,100.00 per week
