Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sleep Technician to join our team in a dynamic sleep center environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sleep medicine, physiology, and anatomy, enabling them to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for patients experiencing sleep disorders. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with patients to ensure accurate assessments and high-quality care. Responsibilities Conduct sleep studies, including polysomnography, to monitor patients' sleep patterns and physiological data. Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort. Monitor vital signs and collect data throughout the night, ensuring adherence to protocols. Perform physical examinations as necessary to assess patient health prior to testing. Maintain accurate records of patient data and observations during studies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and develop treatment plans. Stay updated on advancements in sleep medicine and related technologies. Experience Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential. Familiarity with respiratory therapy practices is a plus. Previous experience in a sleep center or related healthcare environment is preferred. Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation techniques related to sleep disorders. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide compassionate care.
