Job Summary Turn donor contributions into ready-to-ship plasma with precision. Step into a role where speed, accuracy, and organization drive life-saving outcomes. As a Processing Lead , you'll manage the behind-the-scenes operations that ensure plasma is processed, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently. From sample handling to inventory control, your work supports the production of plasma-derived therapies that help patients around the world. What you'll do Process plasma and samples in accordance with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards. Perform centrifugation, labeling, inspection, and aseptic sealing of plasma units. Ensure timely placement of samples into freezers and monitor equipment temperatures. Troubleshoot equipment issues; perform calibrations and verify maintenance. Manage freezer inventory and optimize storage for efficiency. Control disposition of unsuitable products with proper documentation. Prepare shipments and verify product accuracy, support quarantine and QA release. Track and record data for Specialty Programs and donor classifications. Maintain clean, organized workspaces and ensure adequate operating supplies. Monitor donor flow and reallocate personnel to minimize wait times. Educate donors on center policies, donation procedures, and plasma-based therapies. Review donor records for completeness and compliance with cGMP. Communicate with management about workflow issues and improvement opportunities. Perform quality control checks on lab equipment and maintain documentation. Follow all SOPs, OSHA guidelines, and regulatory policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Answer phones courteously and direct inquiries appropriately. Qualifications and need-to-know High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year experience in a laboratory or warehouse environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely. Comfortable working in a regulated environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and cold storage. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with plasma processing equipment and inventory systems is a plus. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.
