Essential Duties:

Collect, receive, label, preserve, and analyze samples while maintaining sample integrity and chain-of-custody expectations Follow established QA/QC protocols, including calibration checks, control samples, documentation review, and corrective action when results fall outside expected ranges Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation used for water quality testing Validate, record, and transfer test results accurately to support compliance reporting and operational decision-making Identify potential testing, sampling, or data quality issues and communicate findings promptly to support safe and reliable facility performance. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety standards, inventory readiness, and documentation practices required for remote facility operations

Requirements:

EDUCATION

Associate's degree or undergraduate degree in a related field of study preferred

EXPERIENCE

2-3 years' experience in water quality testing, sampling, QA/QC protocols, calibration procedures, sample integrity, and data validation preferred Municipal water or wastewater laboratories, industrial water treatment facilities, environmental laboratories, chemical manufacturing quality labs, or oilfield water quality operations

Varies depending on job site

OTHER:

Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime, if applicable. Able and willing to work independently in remote field locations and collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams.
