Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: Assists in data collection for statistical surveys or other reports generated by the Department. Participates in performance improvement activities within the Department. 3Facilitates communication between the Laboratory and members of the Medical Staff and other Hospital Departments to enhance patientcare services. Notifies supervisor of any unusual requests to ensure maximum utilization of resources and maintenance of quality care. Performs computer functions as necessary according to job duties. Performs other related duties as assigned.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES.
What qualifications you will need: Bachelor or Associate degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or medical technology/clinical laboratory science/medical laboratory scientist (MT/CLS/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician/Clinical Laboratory Technician (MLT/CLT) from an accredited institution Qualified under CLIA guidelines for MMT/CLS/MLS or
MLT/CLT 1
year clinical laboratory experience or equivalent clinical lab training ASCP or AMT MT/MLT or equivalent certification or be currently eligible to sit for MLT or equivalent certification exam preferred. Certification must be acquired within one year of hire.
