Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for performing phlebotomy procedures (blood draws) in the laboratory and in the hospital. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
Preferred Knowledge of medical laboratory practices and procedures Knowledge of Medical Terminology Knowledge of Lab/reference manuals, formularies, ICD-9 book, and reference lab procedures
Certification/Licensure:
Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date Preferred ASCP Board or Registry or equivalent
