Full-Time Safety Sensitive Position Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Lab Technician to join our team in Waxahachie, TX. This position is responsible for performing routine laboratory testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing solutions and materials, supporting quality assurance processes, and accurately documenting test results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, scientific principles, and safety protocols and be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment. Responsibilities Conduct specified laboratory tests and experiments according to established procedures. Accurately record, document, and compile test data for reporting purposes. Perform Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities as required. Prepare laboratory solutions, mixtures, reagents, and testing materials. Calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on laboratory equipment following manufacturer guidelines. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safety standards. Monitor and document laboratory equipment performance. Assist with laboratory research, testing, and development activities as needed. Follow all company, laboratory, and regulatory safety procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts. Qualifications 2 to 5 years of laboratory experience preferred. Knowledge of standard laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety practices. Understanding of scientific concepts, measurements, calculations, and terminology. Ability to follow detailed laboratory protocols and testing procedures. Strong documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping skills. Experience with QA/QC processes and laboratory equipment maintenance. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Proficient computer and data management skills.
