General Purpose:
To provide timely and accurate analytical testing data to the production departments.Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform sampling of raw materials and in-process and finished products Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation Wash lab utensils and glassware Prepare and stock reagents and media Maintain monitoring records of all lab analytical testing Report non-compliant laboratory testing results Receive, stock and inventory lab supplies and reagents Perform chemical, physical and microbiological testing or raw materials, in process and finished products Maintain laboratory reports in a timely, accurate and legible manner Maintain the laboratory and associated areas in an orderly and clean manner Follow all plant and corporate policies Adhere to all DFA Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity Adhere to all DFA Safety policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity Adhere to all DFA GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity Report plant conditions that may result in non-compliance with standards and specifications Other duties as assigned by the Lab /QC Supervisor Requirements:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
1 year of food manufacturing experience, preferably in a laboratory or quality assurance function Prefer some college science and math courses or an associate degreeNecessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Basic working knowledge of personal computers Understanding of basic mathCompensation:
