Job Description

Harrisonburg Family Practice, LLC, located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, is looking for a full-time (M-F) Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) who will be responsible for performing diagnostic laboratory tests on a chemistry analyzer, maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring accurate results. Responsibilities will also include following quality control and quality assurance protocols, as well as interpreting laboratory findings and collaborating with healthcare providers to support patient care.
Candidate must have:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician (MLS, MLT) or equivalent (CLS/CLT) is preferred Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Science Hands-on expertise in Laboratory Skills Experience with implementing and maintaining Quality Control and Quality Assurance Standards Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Previous experience in a Clinical Laboratory environment is preferred
