Job Description

Anatek Labs, Inc. is seeking a laboratory technician for our Wenatchee branch. This is a small laboratory operation that will require the candidate to assist with sample login and customer service. Work experience in a laboratory environment preferred. Customer service experience preferred. This position is Monday-Friday 8-5.
Salary DOE Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and follow established laboratory procedures, safety policies and best laboratory practices Conduct routine testing on drinking water, waste water, and other raw materials using various chemical and physical test methods Prepare standards, reagents, and solutions used in laboratory procedures Interpret and enter test results into Laboratory Information Management database Ensure that established sample turnaround times are met Follow quality control procedures as outlined in Quality Assurance Manual Assist Sample Control Technician with sample receipt and login Perform customer service duties as needed Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Work experience in laboratory, data entry or customer service environment preferred Excellent attention to detail and good organization skills Ability to contribute to a safe work culture Ability to work well in a team environment Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be meticulous and able to work independently and safely Ability to lift 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time Experience with basic microbiological water test methods preferred Excellent time management skills
