Job Description

QC Laboratory Technician — Help Us Protect Quality, Safety & Customer Trust If you're energized by precision, problem‑solving, and hands‑on lab work that directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction, this role is your chance to shine. As part of our Quality Control Team , you'll support the Director of QA & Regulatory in daily QC and lab operations — ensuring every product that leaves our facility meets the highest standards of safety, consistency, and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do Daily QC Operations — Perform lab functions according to Animix's Quality Control SOPs. Medication Inventory Verification — Complete daily double‑checks and accounting verification. HACCP Monitoring — Participate in daily HACCP plan checks; report findings and collaborate with plant personnel to ensure cleanliness, proper manufacturing, and correct storage of raw and finished materials. Finished Product Testing — Collect and analyze samples to determine readiness for shipment. Raw Material Testing — Sample and analyze incoming ingredients to determine release or rejection. Independent Lab Coordination — Manage routine testing with third‑party labs and maintain accurate records. Documentation Support — Provide COAs, spec sheets, SDS documents, and other required materials for shipping and customer needs. Instrument‑Based Analysis — Perform routine lab testing using specific instruments. Document Organization — Continuously update and organize lab‑related files. Customer Support — Assist with customer inquiries and maintain all related records. Specification Management — Help establish and maintain specifications and SDS files for raw materials and finished products. Product Development Participation — Produce lab samples and batches for R&D projects. Compliance — Follow all SOPs, cGMPs, and HACCP guidelines. Complete other duties as assigned. What Makes You a Strong Fit Strong oral and written communication skills. Reliable, organized, and able to manage interruptions and multitask. Exceptional attention to detail. Integrity, adaptability, and alignment with Animix Core Values . Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office. Basic math skills. Prior QC or feed manufacturing experience is highly valued. High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in science or quality is a plus. Work Environment & Physical Requirements General office/lab environment with periodic work in an active, dusty production facility. Standing for multiple hours. Ability to lift 50-55 lbs. Ability to climb stairs, work at heights, and use portable ladders. Possible use of N95 or half‑face respirator. Facilities handle dairy, soy, nuts, and other allergens.
