MLT Certification Full Job Description Work Schedule:
100% FTE 1130-8pm Monday thru Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
Pay:
This position may be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus Additional components of compensation may include: o Evening and night shift differential o Weekend differential Be part of something remarkable Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Support Services to: Perform moderately complex diagnostic tests and limited high complexity testing.
Perform preventative maintenance on select lab equipment or instruments. Perform troubleshooting on select laboratory equipment or instruments as a scientist. Promote culture of safety for patients through proper identification, proper reporting, documentation and prevention of medical errors in a non-punitive environment. Education:
Minimum
  • Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory tech nology. OR education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include 60 semester hours including either: 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses Preferred
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science (biology)
Work Experience:
Preferred
  • One year experience as Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum
  • Preferred
