This position is actually located in Madison, WI so candidates must be willing to relocate to Madison, WI. Key Responsibilities Perform specimen accessioning, processing, sample racking, and laboratory support functions. Utilize laboratory automation systems and equipment to support workflow efficiency. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and perform routine maintenance activities. Handle, process, and dispose of specimens according to laboratory procedures and safety requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Complete required laboratory documentation accurately and on time. Support laboratory inspections, audits, SOP development, and compliance initiatives. Follow all laboratory safety regulations and procedures. Participate in quality improvement and process improvement initiatives. Support departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives. Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented laboratory environment. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Biology, microbiology, biochemistry or related science Familiar with basic laboratory skills Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If relocating must be able to relocate to Madison, WI within a few weeks.
