Job Title:
Laboratory Technician - 2nd Shift Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Technician for a full-time position working 4x10 hour shifts. The 2nd shift schedule includes Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Friday from 12 pm to 10:30 pm, with Wednesdays and weekends off. Responsibilities Conduct microbiology lab testing for 80% to 90% of the workday. Perform plating, pipetting, and use various lab equipment. Complete remedial tasks such as documentation and cleaning for one to two hours daily. Collaborate with the team and cross-train into additional lab areas based on performance. Essential Skills Strong understanding and knowledge of biology and microbiology. Proficiency in handling lab equipment and conducting laboratory procedures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in the Sciences. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes. Work Environment The role is based in a laboratory environment where the technician will spend the majority of their time performing micro lab testing. The position offers hands-on experience in a rapidly growing company, providing opportunities for career advancement and relocation within the national network. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out ofNEW BERLIN, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.17 - $20.17/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
