1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2-3 years of experience and RPSGT certification. Details Acute care sleep study unit with 4 beds Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on patient needs Patient population includes pulmonary patients, OSA, CSA, OHS, COPD, oxygen dependent, cardiology, and REM behavior disorder cases Uses NATUS SleepWorks system for scoring and MPR home units RT equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and

ASV EPIC EMR

used 12-hour night shifts, 630p-630a, 36 hours per week Weekends as scheduled No self-scheduling; some flexibility with range of days scheduled No call or standby requirements No floating requirements Requirements Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a CPSGT or

RPSGT BLS

certification required RPSGT certification via BRPT required RRT-SDS or CRT-SDS certification via NBRC required License required if applicable Prior successful travel assignment history preferred with no canceled contracts Additional Information Navy blue scrubs required No formal lab orientation beyond a facility walkthrough and schedule coordination with the department Must attend one all-day hospital education session and complete one education module Badge processing required through HR Radius rule of 50 miles for this facility; local candidates not accepted Returning WVU Medicine travelers must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying Travelers may not work within WVU Medicine for longer than a year without taking a 2-year break, with cumulative experience applying All candidates interview directly with the unit manager
