Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN position to join our healthcare team as a staff LPN. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in patients' home settings. This role involves traveling to patients' homes, performing assessments, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The LPN will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing services to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation Administer medications, injections, wound care, Foley care, and other patient specific procedures following established protocols Manage airway care, ventilator support, tube feeding, wound care, and Foley care and catheterization for patients requiring it Document all patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance Collaborate with home healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on health management strategies including medication administration and disease-specific care Rigorously following infection control practices and maintaining sterile environment during procedures Support discharge planning and coordinate post-acute or home & community care services for continuity of care Qualifications Valid Alaska state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Preferred previous experience in home health Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology Ability to perform patient assessments and manage multiple priorities efficiently Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients/families Commitment to maintaining HIPAA standards and infection control protocols BLS/Basic Life Support certification required Join our dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional nursing care across various healthcare settings. Pay:

$30.00 - $39.00 per hour
