We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Cullman Radiation Therapy Services. The LPN will play a crucial role in assisting our radiation oncology team in delivering high-quality patient care and support services.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient assessments and intake procedures. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Monitor patients during radiation therapy and provide emotional support as needed. Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and potential side effects. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Current LPN license in the state of Alabama. Previous experience in oncology or radiation therapy preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills.
