Job Description

To provide high quality, necessary medical care to patients as required or assigned within the scope of nursing practice dictated by the authority of the Alabama Board of Nursing. The LPN functions under the supervision and guidance of the Clinic Director/Provider and participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients and provides clinical support and technical assistance to the medical professional and other staff. Required Education and Experience High school diploma/GED. Completion of an approved nursing program. Current Alabama state license and good standing status with the ALBN. Must possess BLS certification at time of hire or within three months of hire. Minimum one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Preferred Education and Experience Completion of an accredited nursing program. Minimum two years of experience as an LPN, preferably in a medical practice setting. Additional Requirements Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed. Willingness to participate in training/continuing education opportunities at the request of the employer.
