Resident Wellness Director Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising daily nursing activities and ensuring the highest standards of care for residents. You will work closely with the Resident Wellness Director and healthcare team to deliver quality care in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities during assigned shifts Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations Monitor and guide CNAs/Resident Care Techs to ensure quality resident care Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate and detailed nursing documentation and reports Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report any changes Assist in resident admissions, transfers, and discharges Conduct daily rounds to ensure proper care delivery Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams Respond to emergencies and ensure resident safety at all times Maintain infection control standards and proper use of PPE Assist with care planning and resident assessments Provide direct patient care including vital signs, dressing changes, and ADLs as needed Required Qualifications Nursing Degree from an accredited institution or completion of an approved LPN program Active and unencumbered LPN/LVN license (state-specific) Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital, long-term care, or healthcare setting (may be waived) Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and healthcare regulations Ability to pass background check and meet health requirements (including TB test) Preferred Skills & Competencies Experience in senior living or long-term care environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and empathetic approach toward geriatric patients Ability to make independent decisions and handle stressful situations Leadership and supervisory skills Strong organizational and documentation abilities Work Requirements Availability for 40 hours per week (including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed) Participation in ongoing training and in-service education programs Adherence to company policies, dress code, and professional standards Participation in meetings, inspections, and community events Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or move up to 20 lbs Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift Exposure to healthcare environments including infectious diseases and hazardous materials Ability to handle physically and emotionally demanding situations Why Join Us?
