Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

New Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center

Clarksville/Russellville, Arkansas Area

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at a new drug and alcohol treatment center serving the Clarksville and Russellville communities. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals working toward recovery in a professional, supportive, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, treatment plans, and applicable regulations.

Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate medication records.

Monitor clients' physical and behavioral health and promptly report significant changes to the appropriate medical provider.

Obtain and document vital signs, health histories, symptoms, and other clinical information.

Assist with client admissions, assessments, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Educate clients about medications, treatment recommendations, wellness, and recovery support.

Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation.

Respond appropriately to medical concerns and emergency situations.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, counselors, and other members of the treatment team.

Follow all infection-control, safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Support a respectful, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Arkansas LPN license or eligibility to obtain Arkansas licensure.

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.

Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain certification before employment.

Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to individuals receiving substance-use treatment.

Ability to maintain professional boundaries and protect confidential information.

Previous experience in behavioral health, substance-use treatment, detoxification, mental health, or a related setting is preferred but not required.
