Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinic - BH McClintock Family Clinic Harrison, AR Location BH McClintock Family Medicine, is a full-service medical clinic that has been serving North Arkansas since 1985. We take pride in providing comprehensive medical care for the entire family. We specialize in providing care for children, adults and seniors. The providers understand the need to provide efficient and effective medical care. We treat each patient like our own family. Our compassionate, professional staff is dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible. We provide effective care that is responsive to the needs of the community of Harrison. We are committed to being on the forefront of medicine and have invested in becoming a fully electronic clinic. We have digital X-ray as well as a fully functional electronic medical record which provides electronic prescriptions as well as electronic communication with the practice.
SUMMARY:
This position is filled by a licensed practical nurse who, as a result of educational and clinical experience, possesses the advanced knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide expert nursing care and ensures quality-focused and cost-effective care delivery outcomes. Responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care and promoting a team effort among co-workers. Responsible and accountable to know, own and energize the vision, mission, values and standards of the hospital.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Licensure:
Current Arkansas or Compact State Practical Nurse license in good standing.Experience:
Willing to train recent LPN graduate. Previous clinic experience desired.Certifications:
BLS required.Other:
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.Safety Sensitive Designation:
This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist up to or exceeding 8-10 hours during shift(s). Occasionally requires lifting of 50 pounds or more of equipment. Able to push in excess of 150 pound wheelchair with patient. Occasionally lifts patients with assist 125 pounds or more. Spends eight hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse. Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations of CPR and obtaining equipment. Must be able to handle highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.Work Environment :
