Job Description

Job Summary The LPN Role provides direct patient care and clinical support within a family practice setting. This position works closely with providers, medical assistants, and front‑office staff to ensure efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high‑quality care for patients across the lifespan. Responsibilities Patient Intake — Perform vitals, medication reconciliation, chief complaint documentation, and screening questionnaires (PHQ‑9, GAD‑7, fall risk, etc.). Clinical Procedures — Administer injections (vaccines, B12, allergy), perform venipuncture, wound care, ear lavage, EKGs, and point‑of‑care testing. Care Coordination — Communicate provider instructions to patients, provide education on chronic conditions, and assist with follow‑up care planning. Medication Management — Process refill requests per protocol, call in prescriptions as directed, and ensure proper documentation of controlled substances. Phone Triage — Assess patient needs, route messages appropriately, schedule acute visits, and follow standing triage protocols. Charting & Documentation — Maintain accurate, timely chart entries, including procedure logs, patient communications, and care plans. Rooming & Workflow Support — Prepare exam rooms, manage supply inventory, sterilize instruments, and support daily clinic flow. Qualifications Active LPN License in the state of Arkansas. Current BLS certification . Experience in family practice, internal medicine, or outpatient primary care preferred. Strong communication, multitasking, and patient‑education skills.
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
