Summary As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Arkansas Renal Group, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care within our nephrology office. Located in Arkansas Renal Group - Russellville Nephrology positions are essential for supporting our healthcare team and enhancing the overall patient experience. Responsibilities Assist in the monitoring of patients' health status under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Perform patient intake with vital sign measurements and history reconciliation with a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Conduct phone triage, address concerns, direct to appropriate care, and explain the provider's treatment plans and medication instructions with effective communication as prescribed. Coordinate scheduling for patient appointments with providers/facilities for orders and referrals with prior authorizations if needed. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Support patient education initiatives regarding renal health and treatment options. Qualifications Current unencumbered LPN license within the state of Arkansas or eligibility for licensure. CPR Certification. Strong understanding of medical terminology. Strong organizational and multitasking skills Competent computer skills and experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Professional interpersonal skills. Good physical condition and stamina; prolonged periods of sitting; ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
