Job Description
Job Overview Need nurse to work in pre/post op recovery room at as surgery center that mainly does cataract surgery. And other eye surgeries. Also circulating nurse in OR. Usually one day a week. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and catheterizations. Provide emergency response support including airway management, first aid, CPR. Document all patient interactions meticulously using EMR/EHR systems while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge planning strategies and coordinate post-acute care services. Experience Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, or outpatient clinics. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Critical care experience including ICU or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable.
