Upcoming School Year Are you a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity outside of a traditional clinical setting? We are seeking a dedicated School LPN to join a supportive school district in the North Phoenix area for the upcoming school year. In this role, you'll help ensure students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn while working alongside educators, families, and healthcare professionals in a collaborative school environment. If you're passionate about pediatric care and making a difference in students' daily lives, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students throughout the school day. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies. Monitor students with chronic and acute medical conditions while documenting care and communicating changes to the appropriate team members. Assist with the implementation of Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs), Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), and other student health plans. Collaborate with Registered Nurses, teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and well-being. Respond to medical emergencies and maintain a safe, healthy school environment. Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations. Promote health education, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives across the school community. Qualifications Active Arizona Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Previous pediatric, school nursing, clinic, or long-term care experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.
