Key Qualifications:

Active California LVN license required Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a health services team Strong communication and documentation skills Adaptable and organized with the ability to support multiple students with varying health needs Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to school health protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide daily health care services, including administering medications, first aid, and emergency care to students and staff Support individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions, allergies, or special needs Maintain accurate health records and document all treatments provided Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and families to promote student health and safety Offer guidance and education on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention Participate as an essential member of a pool of LVNs, rotating as needed to ensure coverage across school campuses This contract position offers a structured, school-based schedule of 32.5 hours per week during the regular school year, with optional opportunities for extended school year (ESY) assignments based on need and sign-up.
