Active and clear LVN or LPN license in California Experience working as a School LPN/LVN, especially in educational settings Strong proficiency in diabetic care, including glucose monitoring, insulin administration, and recognizing/responding to signs of hypo/hyperglycemia Effective communication skills for collaborating with school staff, students, and families Ability to maintain accurate documentation and uphold all healthcare compliance standards

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized health support to a designated student, focusing on diabetic management throughout the school day Administer routine medications and necessary medical interventions Monitor and respond to changes in the students health, following developed care plans Document all care provided, health observations, and communication with families or staff Provide compassionate support, creating a safe and inclusive environment for the student Work closely with teachers, school counselors, and healthcare team members to facilitate the students educational experience
