This unique position involves providing one-on-one care for a student who requires skilled Tracheostomy (Trache) care as they integrate into their educational program. The assignment begins as soon as the student enrolls, with a schedule designed to align with after-school hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm and Tuesdays from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active California LPN or LVN license in good standing Prior experience in school settings or pediatric care preferred Proficiency in Tracheostomy (Trache) care required Basic CPR/BLS certification Commitment to providing compassionate, attentive 1:1 care Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt and collaborate with educational and healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled nursing care and continuous supervision for a student during school and program hours Provide safe, thorough Tracheostomy care and monitor overall health status Collaborate with educators and other support staff to maintain a positive, inclusive environment Document health status, interventions, and any necessary treatments following school and nursing protocols Serve as a liaison between the school, healthcare providers, and family to ensure seamless care delivery
