Qualifications & Skills:

Active LPN or LVN license in the state of California Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred Understanding of school protocols, immunization requirements, and health screenings Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

Administer first aid, medications, and routine health procedures to students Maintain accurate health records and documentation in line with school and state guidelines Assist with management of chronic health conditions (such as diabetes, asthma, allergies) Perform health assessments, screening, and infection control as needed Serve as a resource and advocate for students, staff, and parents on health-related matters Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators regarding students' health plans Support compliance with public health guidelines and participate in health-related education initiatives
