Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students as an LPN/LVN in a dynamic school environment near Fremont, CA. This position offers the unique opportunity to work 1:1 with medically fragile students, rotating between individuals and campuses as an itinerant provider. Based on organizational needs, the role has potential flexibility between part-time (22.5 hours) or full-time/extended school year (30 hours) weekly schedules.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Active LPN or LVN license Prior experience working in school settings with students ages 4-22 Strong skills in gastronomy, bladder catheterization, diabetes management (CGM, carb counting, insulin administration), seizure care, and addressing both hypo- and hyperglycemia Ability to administer medications including epinephrine, Benadryl, etc. Familiarity supporting students with ASD, developmental delays, and medically fragile needs Comfortable with staff training and parent communication Bilingual Spanish is a plus, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

Review, update, and execute individualized health plans, especially those related to seizures and critical care needs Conduct staff training on relevant medical procedures to ensure student safety Establish rapport with parents and students, ensuring clear and empathetic communication Respond quickly to urgent health situations while on call during school hours Provide direct care for students, adapting to their changing health needs All interviews will take place onsite.
