Job Description

About MiSalud Health MiSalud Health is on a mission to make healthcare accessible and affordable for all by removing barriers of language, cost, and circumstance. We believe that the future of medicine lies at the intersection of human expertise and technical creativity. Whether we are building cross-border platform integrations or pioneering AI-augmented care, we lead with compassion and precision to create meaningful change in our patients' lives. About the Role MiSalud Health runs on-site health screening and wellness events at client workplaces (which include health assessments, laboratory tests, vaccinations, and medical appointments) across California and other states. We are hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to deliver clinical care, administer vaccinations, conduct health screenings, and manage patient safety at these events. You will operate within your California nursing scope of practice, either independently or under standardized procedures and physician standing orders.
Your day is patient-facing:
clinical intake, health assessments, consent, vaccine and medication administration, patient education, and accurate clinical documentation. This is a per-diem 1099 contractor position paid hourly. Engagements are scheduled per event, and you may accept or decline each assignment based on your availability. What Actually Matters to

Vaccine & Supply Management:
Maintain cold chain standards during transport and storage, verify lot numbers and expiration dates, manage inventory, and handle sharps and biohazardous waste per protocols.
Documentation & Registry Reporting:
Maintain accurate Electronic Health Record (EHR) entries, record dose metrics, anatomical sites, and patient responses, and ensure accurate inputs into state registries like the California Immunization Registry (CAIR2).
Adverse Event & Emergency Response:
Monitor patients post-procedure, rapidly identify adverse reactions or allergic responses, execute emergency protocols (e.g., epinephrine administration for anaphylaxis), and lead initial emergency response and VAERS documentation.
Station Operations:
Set up and dismantle clinical stations, ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards, and maintain an organized, hygienic clinical environment.
