9677838-93434 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) supporting students in the school environment near Guadalupe, CA. Work as part of a collaborative LVN pool, providing essential care to students and helping ensure a safe, healthy atmosphere throughout the academic year. Your commitment will span the regular school year (October 2026 through August 2027), with hours totaling 6.5 per day, 32.5 per week. Extended School Year (ESY) participation is optional and not guaranteed; interested staff may volunteer for additional hours during this period.

Desired Qualifications:

Active California LVN license, required at the time of application Previous experience as an LPN/LVN in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication skills and comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to adapt in fast-paced, changing environments Attention to detail, excellent documentation, and time management abilities

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to students as assigned Respond to student health needs and administer routine or emergency medical care Support individualized health plans and collaborate with educators and staff to meet student needs Track health data and maintain thorough, confidential records in accordance with policy Serve as a key contact for first aid emergencies and routine health issues onsite This contract position offers a standard 32.5-hour workweek during the regular school year, with additional ESY hours available for those who sign up.
