Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one nursing care to a student with diabetes, ensuring safety and well-being during school hours Monitor and document blood glucose levels and administer medication as prescribed Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans in collaboration with school staff and families Educate and support the student in managing their diabetic needs throughout the school day Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, families, and school staff to maintain clear communication Respond effectively to any diabetic emergencies, utilizing strong clinical judgment and quick decision-making
