Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting student well-being as a Summer School LVN providing homebound services. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with a middle school-aged student, ensuring they receive vital care throughout the summer session. The assignment runs from ASAP through July and is perfect for dedicated nursing professionals seeking a meaningful, short-term opportunity.
Key Qualifications:
Current LPN/LVN license in good standing Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Ability to build rapport with adolescents and families CPR certification (active and updated) Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working independently in a home environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care and support during homebound instruction Monitor health needs and administer medications or treatments as prescribed Collaborate with educational staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student health status Communicate proactively with the student's guardians and school representatives Adhere to all protocols for student privacy, safety, and school health guidelines This position offers competitive weekly pay for your expertise and dedication.
