Applicants may indicate their preferred shift or availability for individual weekend shifts. Ogada Home Health Care is seeking dependable, compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide one-to-one skilled care for an adult patient at home. This assignment requires experience with tracheostomy care, ventilator support, gastrostomy feeding, and seizure precautions. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care according to current physician orders and the RN-supervised plan of care. Monitor vital signs, respiratory status, oxygen saturation, and changes in condition. Provide ordered tracheostomy care, suctioning, respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator support within LVN scope and verified competency. Administer prescribed medications and G-tube feedings; provide tube and site care. Observe for seizures and follow prescribed seizure-response and emergency protocols. Assist with hygiene, incontinence care, repositioning, and skin protection. Perform transfers using prescribed equipment and required assistance. Document care accurately and communicate promptly with the supervising RN, family, and incoming care team. Maintain infection-control practices, patient privacy, and a safe care environment. Qualifications Active California LVN license in good standing. Current BLS/CPR certification. Demonstrated competency in tracheostomy care, suctioning, and home ventilator support. Experience with G-tube feeding, medication administration, and seizure management. Reliable weekend availability and transportation to the patient's home. Ability to perform essential duties safely, with reasonable accommodation. Completion of agency onboarding, case-specific orientation, and competency verification before independent assignment.
