As an LVN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing to assess, plan, and implement nursing care. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the continuity of care and enhancing the quality of life for residents. Assess residents' conditions and nursing needs, prescribing appropriate nursing actions Administer medications following the eight (8) medication rights Supervise CNAs and supportive staff to ensure quality care Participate in resident and family teaching Document changes in residents' conditions and nursing care Notify physicians of changes in residents' conditions and follow through until appropriate action is taken Implement care plans based on assessments and interdisciplinary team goals Demonstrate competence in technical and manual skills within LVN scope of practice Function as a resident advocate by protecting residents' rights Maintain infection control procedures Remain calm in emergencies and stressful situations Graduate of an accredited LVN program Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license Current BLS certification Need 1 year experience in setting Basic computer knowledge and Electronic Health Record experience preferred Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
