Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) working within a supportive school environment. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and health professionals. With two full-time openings available, you'll play a vital role in maintaining student well-being throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Current LVN/LPN license in good standing Experience in a school setting strongly preferred Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and first aid response Exceptional communication and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and school staff Passion for supporting the health and learning of students
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students daily, including managing chronic conditions, administering medications, and responding to medical emergencies Maintain detailed health records and documentation in compliance with school policy Collaborate with school administrators, educators, and fellow health professionals to create a safe, inclusive environment Educate students and staff on health-related topics and preventive care Monitor and support students with special health needs or individualized care plans Ensure adherence to health protocols and state guidelines
