The LVN at LGTC Group's Eating Disorder Residential plays a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to our adult clients going through eating disorder treatment in our 24/7 facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all patients receive timely medical attention and support, contributing to their overall well-being and recovery. The LVN will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and monitor patient progress. Additionally, this role involves educating clients about medication under the direction of our medical providers. Ultimately, the LVN will help create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes healing and comfort for all clients. We have full-time, part-time, and on-call positions available. We can offer AM shifts (6:00AM-2:30PM) and PM shifts (2-10:30PM). The ability to work at least one weekend day is required , and we are looking for applicants who can commit to a set schedule for at least six months. We are looking for candidates who can start on August 10th. We will be conducting in-person interviews at our facility the first week of August. Do not come to the facility unless invited. Please note that reliable transportation is required, as the commute involves driving on winding roads.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Aid the milieu counselors on the floor and assist with bathroom observations and cleaning tasks. Crisis de-escalation as needed. The ability to perform basic wound care Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (psychology, sociology, social work, or other relevant fields preferred). Must be fully licensed. Valid BLS/CPR certificate. California driver's license. Availability to work on weekends. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Reliable and able to commit to a set schedule for a minimum of six months (for part-time or full-time candidates).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a residential treatment center or similar healthcare setting Knowledge of mental health nursing practices. Knowledge or experience with eating disorders Bilingual skills in English and Spanish or other languages.
