Position Summary:

Performs the functions of a licensed LVN; practices data collection, and participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of assigned patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Performs procedures signed off as competent on their unit specific skills competency check list. Prefer experience performing Nursing practice consistent with the performance standards of the LVN or equivalent. Work requires knowledge of patient data collection and nursing standards, knowledge of the California Vocational Board of Nursing rules and regulations, hospital policies and procedures, basic pharmaceutical, math skills.

Qualifications:

Requires completion of accredited LVN program. Must possess good verbal and written English communication skills. Peripheral IV experience and skills preferred. Good time management and prioritizing skills. Computer experience preferred. Currently licensed by the State of California Board of Vocational Nursing with Current American Heart Association BCLS certificate.
