Job Description

Pure Recovery California is a Treatment Center who specialize in the treatment of addiction, sports brain injuries, chronic pain, mood disorders, and co-occurring disorders with professional athletes. 1 year of mental health and detox experience, required We are looking for a nurse who is passionate for our industry, who enjoys helping others, a team player, someone who is flexible, organized, works independently, has excellent time management skills and great communication skills. 12 hour
Shifts Available:
7:00pm-7:30am & 7:00am - 7:30pm
Overtime:
after 8 hours for per diem shifts Shift differential: night shifts & weekends an additional $1.50/hr. Statements of Purpose The licensed vocational nurse position is responsible for the assessments of clients, medication observations, documentation and implementing safety. Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities Complete admission (nursing intake) and discharge paperwork Receiving and transcribing physician orders Documentation using electronic medical records system KIPU Assess for drug intoxication and withdrawal symptoms (COWS, CIWA & PAWs) Detox protocols Monitoring of client's vital signs, side effects to medications, etc.. Observe self-administration of medication Perform BAC, Urine Drug Screens, Mantoux Tuberculin skin test Administration duties Other assigned tasks
Physical Demands:
Normal demands associated with an office and residential environment Frequently stand, walk, and sit Frequently reach above, at, or below waist height Frequently kneel, bend, stoop, turn, and twist Frequently lift and carry up to 10lbs., occasionally 20-50lbs Must be able to climb stairs Work on computers for periods of time
Prerequisite Qualifications:
1 year of mental health and detox experience, required Valid California LVN license required and in good standing Valid California Driver License with clean driving record Must successfully pass

background check First Aid certification, obtain prior to employment and maintain current thereafter CPR certification, obtain prior to employment and maintain current thereafter. Health Screen, obtain (60) days prior to employment or upon hire. TB test must be obtain (45) days prior to hire or obtained upon hire, annually therafter.
Pay:
