Experience Valid LVN license with current state certification required; additional certifications in CPR/BLS strongly preferred. Hands-on experience in various healthcare settings such as hospitals (including ICU or Level I Trauma Centers), skilled nursing facilities, hospice programs, or home & community care. Demonstrated proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and data management. Familiarity with advanced nursing procedures including IV infusion therapy, catheterization, sterile technique, and airway management. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and long-term care regulations to ensure compliance and proper billing practices. Experience providing specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care along with managing acute pain cases in a variety of clinical environments such as emergency rooms or surgical units. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams providing patient-centered care across medical-surgical units or outpatient clinics.
