Job Description

Step into a meaningful role supporting student health as a contract Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a school-based, 1:1 setting. In this vital position, you'll make a daily impact by providing dedicated healthcare assistance to a student, ensuring their well-being and success throughout the school day.
Key Qualifications:
Active California LVN license required Previous experience as an LVN/LPN in a school setting or working with children is preferred Strong communication abilities to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to meet evolving student needs Ability to provide reliable transportation with the student to and from school as part of your daily responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized healthcare services, including medication administration and monitoring as directed by the student's care plan Accompany and supervise the student during transport to and from school, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Collaborate with educational and medical staff to promote a healthy learning environment Maintain accurate health records and promptly communicate any changes or concerns regarding the student's condition Support the student with daily routines, fostering a positive and inclusive school experience
