Summary of Position The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) delivers technical nursing care to Residents using the nursing process, functioning as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LVN may assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Job Responsibilities Deliver technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process. Provide nursing care as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of an RN. Monitor and support resident care according to established nursing standards. Collaborate with the nursing team to support quality resident care. May assume the charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience. Must have a currently active California state license.
